Open Day at Wellington Welding Supplies
Another successful open day for Swift-Cut, Phillip Goldney MD of Wellington Welding stated "We hope for significant sales of Swift-Cut machines going forward and are pleased to say we took one firm order for a Swift-Cut 84 on the day."
Open Day at West Country Welding
A good turn out of potential customers came to West Country Welding for a demonstration of the Swift-Cut 44. Their attendance could have been partially due to the high quality of the bacon sarnies!
CNC Plasma cutting technology is now quickly finding its way into the education sector. New machines have recently been purchased by North Highland College, Grange Academy Ayrshire, Blackpool College (see below picture), Bath University and St Edwards school, Oxford. There are several other potential orders going to Swift-Cut in 2012.
"We are delighted to be involved in this exciting development of the UK education sector" said Alan Swift managing director of Swift-Cut. "We are also pleased to say several other colleges are currently looking to place orders".
Demonstrations on the Swift-Cut 44 are now available at our Kings Bromley facility and numerous distributor locations. See distributor listing.
Swift-Cut attended the RHS at Edinburgh last year with the 44 machine on the Hypertherm stand with MacGregor Industrial and Premier Welding Supplies.
There was a good level of interest in the new machine with at least two orders taken and a significant number of quality leads.
Both distributors in Scotland now have a demonstration machine.
We look forward to working with MacGregor and Premier Welding in Scotland.
Four more distributors have now been appointed bringing the total to 14 across the UK and Ireland.
"We are now in a position whereby we can fully support our customer base with sound engineering expertise across the UK and Eire"
See distributor listing for your local supplier.
The sales team on the Foster Industrial stand at LAMMA had little spare time over the exhibition.
This was thanks to the launch of the Swift-Cut 44 CNC Plasma cutting table and constant live demonstrations of the Fosters cutting machine range.
Alan Swift, Managing Director of Swift-Cut said, "The Swift-Cut brings accurate cutting and profiling to the farming community at a sensible price. Being capable of tackling metals up to 19mm thick means vital breakdowns can be repaired quickly and in-house with minimal downtime".
One order was taken for a Swift-Cut 44 at the show along with a subsequent number of confirmed orders.
